Advanced Leakage Detection and Control.

Invisible leaks account for more than 90% of the total volume of real losses. Small hidden leaks, which often run for years, lose more water than even the most dramatic surface bursts. Active Leakage Control is comprised of well-targeted and properly-managed leak detection activities to locate hidden leaks, communication strategies to encourage the utility’s customers to immediately report visible leaks and effective work management to ensure speedy and good quality repairs.

Millenia Aqua Services Sdn. Bhd. (MASSB) are experienced and are well trained in using all these equipment such as acoustic leak detection, leak detection loggers and correlators and ground microphones that pick-up leak sounds.MASSB will carry out the leakage detection by following activities: –

• Visual Inspection and Sounding (VIS)
• Installation and logging of correlator sensor at existing exposed fittings on pipes in selected areas.
• Carrying out leak detection by ground microphone to confirm and localize the potential leak
• Carrying out permanent leak monitoring system at existing underground pipes especially on the trunk mains.
