Pressure Management Scheme.
Non-Revenue Water
Pressure management is an effective way to control the amount of water lost in a system. This can be implemented without affecting service levels when activated during low demand periods such as late night and early morning. It can also reduce consumption in networks with no intermediate storage. A small reduction in pressure can mean a significant reduction in real losses through leaks. It is important though, to comprehensively evaluate a service area and gain an understanding of its background losses, before or alongside introducing pressure control. The effect of pressure control on real losses can then be quantified.
MASSB has vast experience in pressure management. We did all pressure management methods such as traditional methods as well as advanced pressure management schemes. Most of the pressure management activities can be divided by following: –
Pressure Reducing Valve (Fixed Outlet)
Flow and Pressure Profiles by Fix Outlet Control by PRV
Modulated Pressure Reduction Valve (Multi Point control)
Flow and Pressure Profiles by Timer Controller installed at PRV
Flow Modulating Pressure Reduction Valves (Flow based Dynamic Modulation)
Flow and Pressure Profiles Pattern by Flow Modulation Device
MASSB also specializes in servicing and troubleshooting for all pressure management devices since involves in NRW Reduction Program in Malaysia since 2002.
